Step 1: Prepare the Dough
Mix the flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast in a mixing dish.
Gradually add the warm water and stir until a soft dough is formed.
The dough should be smooth and elastic after 5 to 7 minutes of kneading.
Knead once more for one to two minutes after adding the olive oil.
Let the dough rest for an hour, or until it has doubled in size, covered with a moist towel.
Step 2: Prep the Toppings
Clean the sweet peppers and cut them thinly.
Thinly slice the chilies — remove seeds for reduced heat or retain them for added spice.
Prepare the other toppings and grate the cheese.
Step 3: Shape the Pizza Base
After the dough has risen, carefully punch it down to let the air out.
Roll or stretch it into a 10- to 12-inch circle after transferring it to a surface dusted with flour.
Put the foundation on a pizza stone or baking pan.
Step 4: Assemble the Pizza
Cover the base with a thick coating of pizza sauce.
Add half of the mozzarella cheese.
Evenly arrange the pieces of sweet pepper.
Add chilies equally throughout the pizza — vary number based on spicy preference.
If using onion slices, add them.
Add the remaining cheese, black pepper, and chilli flakes over top.
Top with a spoonful of olive oil.
Step 5: Bake
Set the oven temperature to 230°C (450°F).
Bake the pizza for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and the edges are brown.
Step 6: Garnish and Serve
Take it out of the oven and let it a minute to cool.
Add some fresh parsley or basil as a garnish.
Enjoy the burst of sweet and spicy flavours after slicing and serving!
