Step 1: Prepare the Mango Puree
The ripe mango should be peeled and cut into little cubes.
Put the mango chunks and half a cup of cold water in a blender.
Blend until thick and smooth.
Strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve to get rid of any fibres if you want a velvety texture.
As you prepare the remaining ingredients, chill the puree.
Lime juice, honey, chili powder, and a touch of salt should all be combined in a small bowl.
Stir until all the honey has been dissolved.
Taste the combination; the Flavors of sweetness, tang, and spice should all be well-balanced. As necessary, adjust the chili powder or honey.
Put aside. This will serve as the mocktail's taste foundation.
Step 3: Rim the Glasses (Optional but Fun!)
Wrap a lime wedge over the rims of two serving glasses.
Dip each rim into a tiny plate filled with a mixture of salt and chili powder or Tajín flavor.
This enhances the drink's appearance and adds a spicy-salty sensation with each sip.
Step 4: Combine Everything
Pour the chili-lime mixture and mango puree into a large glass or shaker.
Add the ice cubes and mix well by shaking or stirring.
Fill the glasses about two-thirds of the way to the top with the mixture.
To add fizz and freshness, top with club soda or sparkling water.
To combine the layers without destroying the bubbles, gently stir.
Step 5: Garnish and Serve
To each glass, add a few mango cubes or a slice of lime.
Add sprigs of mint as a garnish for color and fragrance.
Add a pinch of chili flakes or a few drops of chili honey on top for an added wow effect.
Serve right away, cool, bubbly, and revitalizing!
