Ingredients

  • 1 large ripe mango peeled, chopped, and chilled
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder or chili flakes for more spice
  • ½ cup chilled sparkling water or club soda
  • ½ cup cold water for blending
  • A pinch of salt to enhance the flavor
  • Ice cubes as needed
  • Optional Add-ins:
  • 1 teaspoon ginger juice adds a mild warmth
  • A few mint leaves for freshness
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice for extra citrus notes
  • For Garnish:
  • Lime wedges or slices
  • Fresh mint sprigs
  • Tajín seasoning or chili-salt mix for the rim
  • Mango slices or small cubes for decoration

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Prepare the Mango Puree
  2. The ripe mango should be peeled and cut into little cubes.
  3. Put the mango chunks and half a cup of cold water in a blender.
  4. Blend until thick and smooth.
  5. Strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve to get rid of any fibres if you want a velvety texture.
  6. As you prepare the remaining ingredients, chill the puree.
  7. Lime juice, honey, chili powder, and a touch of salt should all be combined in a small bowl.

  8. Stir until all the honey has been dissolved.
  9. Taste the combination; the Flavors of sweetness, tang, and spice should all be well-balanced. As necessary, adjust the chili powder or honey.
  10. Put aside. This will serve as the mocktail's taste foundation.
  11. Step 3: Rim the Glasses (Optional but Fun!)
  12. Wrap a lime wedge over the rims of two serving glasses.

  21. Step 5: Garnish and Serve
  22. To each glass, add a few mango cubes or a slice of lime.
  23. Add sprigs of mint as a garnish for color and fragrance.
  24. Add a pinch of chili flakes or a few drops of chili honey on top for an added wow effect.
